central locking for 260z!

Was thinking it would be nice to have central locking on my 260z 2+2. Has any one had any experience with the after market kit's, for example from demon tweeks or would it be possible to use items from a later model of Z ? The reason i'm considering this is not so much for convenience but for security as the c/locking would be wired up to a thatcham cat 1 alarm system and as an added bonus would become a keyless locking and unlocking affair.

Fitted this to an early Z31 as part of a Pirahna alarm system once. The solenoids were good quality and worked very effectively - as long as the mounting is firm, they will continue to operate for ages. Most alarms seem to offer this as an add-on and I see no reason why the Z models need be excluded!

What would you suggest for protecting the wiring where it passes between door and A-pillar, i thought some sort of plastic/rubber affair as found on most new cars these days, i just have'nt got a clue as to which model would yield a suitably sized item?  <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>
 
The 280ZX and the first generation 300ZX have suitable rubber tubes with end grommets and enough spare capacity to carry speaker wires and electric window motor wires as well.....
