Anyone remember it?

Just bought the whole two series, now on DVD, Fantastic.
an early seventies timewarp.
Nice to meet old touchwood the toad again, and Castle Samarac, Cool but Sad.
Never mind.

No no none of that for me (born 1983, don't remember it if it was on), instead I have season 1, 2 and the movie of Transformers :)

Nice how you can get these old things for next to nothing on dvd now, safe in the knowledge the dvd will outlive you (unlike rubbish VHS).

Just about my era. That and wurzel gummidge. Priceless.

Strange that until about 1990 you could not get any of these old films or TV series on VHS any where. Captain scarlet being brought back in the late 1980's is supposed to be what kicked this nostalgia thing off big time.

Joe 90, T-birds, Captain Scarlet, Stingray..... bliss, and both my sons are as quiet as church mice when they are watching them ( double bliss):)

My 7 year old son is into transformers so it's not just for the nostalgic!!!

Captain Scarlet for me, although I did have a thing for the purple haired ladies in UFO
Amazing though, they can make a carp movie destroying the whole Thunderbird thing and yet Captain Scarlet (which would lend it self ideally) gets left on the shelf.

And dont anyone dare mention supercar or Fireball XL5 they were just puppets

there was also meant to be a "Roger, the Cabin Boy" there as well

But although it is fun to think that the writers and producers and us parents were taking the p!ss the truth is there never was any of the above in the programmes.

shame really as up to a few years back I really believed that they existed there and eveen the good captain seems confused
