So, Cathy has this 280ZX two seater, normally aspirated car. The thing WILL rev. to 7000 - not advised but she (my wife) has done it !

We decided to do some rolling tests on a flat road with an onboard computer and this is what we found - power and torque :

Didn't you know that our Zs are 4x4 and that we go offroading ?

Mervent Forest.....and the local pancake house (Creperie) !

The De Foxon car is a standard 280ZX 2+2 ! As for the rest.....as long as you want if you're not caught ! Otherwise, usually 6 months but as a UK licence holder, I'd have to be very unlucky to get 'done' !

The procedure for having French plates is underway - Nissan is slow and not very efficient !

Well, it’s common when an engine is at his end it will run at his maximum.;)
You should know that, F1 engines do the same…..:D

i recognise that car from Billing about 5 years ago. How long have you owned it for? (nice looking 280)

She's owned it since last summer, now with uprated suspension all-round (shocks, springs and roll-bars) and very-soon-to-be French number plated !

Thanks !

Reason ?

It's easier to get three or four into two, two-seater Zs than into one 2+2...I tried with the Z31 turbo and I admire Nick and Michelle !

Lovely looking 280zx ( don't even think about changing the colour to
match your'zzzzzzz):p DJZ 60.

No, that would have been Steve Peck and before him - Dean Jones and before him, some Texan woman in......Texas who bought it new !

Now it's Cathys' 'cos I promised her a convertible for her 40th !

No! Not even red, Silver suit'z that Z ( Sorry, Cathy's Z) & it should be
what it was is & will remain.....Silver!

BTW That ' PANCAKE ' place in your picture ,what was it called:
The Creeperie.... look's like that French prison in PAPILLION
Possibly built by the same architect, I'd rather spend a few
franc's & sinatra's in a beautiful service station located in the
British countryside.
DJZ 60.

I doubt that your car would make it this far anyway........you can keep the noisy, smokey, buy-buy-buy dive in what's left of the countryside. 'orrible coffee too ! ;-)
