Cars and Coffee at NDE Paddington

Hi All
They are hosting a Cars and Coffee on 13th October 4 till 8. I have no idea if there is any access which I will try to arrange. This is Nissan's design Studio, the guy that did the GTR and 350Z was here!

they have asked for Zeds and GTR's so I suppose I can do the GTR side

Any interest if I can get a tour?

I will ask if they have later prototypes of the new zed we can look at

I doubt they will be able to tell them apart - copies Vs genuine GT-R's

all are welcome but we just don't send invites to people who have GTR badges on lesser machines.... I'm kidding actually one of the guys was a real buff on the older cars

I'm sure they have a mockup at least of the new Z so if we get a good list then I can ask for access

So there might be some restrictions on internal tour due to covid but its worth talking to the designers at least. Last time I was there I spoke to GTR and 350Z designer. We know they did a lot on the 400z as well

So they are happy if you turn up a little earlier as well, last time they put one of our cars on the turntable, which was great. Anytime from 3pm is good they are telling me

Limped to Fourways who topped up and put a new rad cap on.

All was good for 10 miles or so and then started getting warm again so dropped it back to Fourways.

This is the second one I've been to (embarrassed to say I've still not driven there yet) and it's a fun meet. Thanks V much Nissan for organising it and supplying some great hot drinks, pastries, and pizza!

Aw, sorry you had problems and couldn't make it. I'm sure your car would have caused quite a stir!
