Hi,

I won an auction for a June 1992 (when I just turned 9yrs old) edition of Car Builder magazine, which I bought because it had a 180bhp 240z in, anyway I was surprised to see a name I know inside, Sean Dezart's <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

The magazine looks dated already but the car still looks good <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Just thought someone might be interested.
 
Yes indeed Nipper it was Monsieur Sean Dezarts car!
And if you had bothered to get up out of your bed on either Sat or Sun and come to Billing you could have met the great man himself(S D) and probably the cars current owner, Fred the French Cuckoo.
You would also have seen a large range of 240Zs not only from Britain but from Europe which would have added to your fund of Zed knowledge and also tested your linguistic skills.
But like large numbers of the club you didnt come, and you are all poorer in your experience for not doing so.
 
Well if I live to a good age I have at least another 80 opportunities to attend the JAE or similar event <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I actually ended up without anyone to travel with as my mates dropped out, I also had to get clothes for work Monday as I had a presentation to give and looking at the weather and the thought of driving up by myself coupled with other things in the end I couldn't be arsed <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Maybe I'll make the back to basics weekend though.
