Camshaft help please!

The previous car owner has given me a camshaft that was previously in my car before the latest race cam was fitted. It has stamped in the shaft end KCRL22. Can any one advise me whether this is also another race cam, fast road cam or standard spec cam? The previous owner does not know, as his mechanic changed the cams.
Hopefully someone can help me so I can decide whether to refit it or not.

KCRL22 would indicate its a Kent Cams RL22 camshaft but that is for a 2.0 ford Pinto not a 280z, might be worth giving Kent Cams a ring just to confirm what you have

The cam came out of my 240Z and not a Pinto. I will give Kent Cams a call though. Thanks for suggestion.

Kent cams are always happy to grind whatever profile you want on your old cam. My old engine had a P284 (I think) grind, which was also designed for a Pinto.
