Right guys, Saz and myself have been to the last 2 years races and despite what people say about it being better to watch the race on TV, the live experience is SO much better! 2009 possibly will be the last year that Silverstone will be holding the British Grand Prix so its going to be a big one! We will be booking our tickets very soon but is there anyone else on here that wants to join us and make it a mini club event?
The atmosphere is second to none and we even got on telly last year being interviewed! We will be going down on thursday and camping until the monday so we can join in with possibly Silverstones last GP party for a long time.
Please add your names if you want to join us and we'll sort something out for when we order the tickets so we can all sit together. We will be ordering tickets for the Copse Grandstand so be prepared for £280 ticket prices but this gives you full roaming access to all grandstands for Friday/Saturday and a quality seat for the race on the sunday.
If people want to just buy a general admission ticket then they're more than welcome to come and join us on the camp site and have the usual wander down into Silverstone Village to the pub for a few after-practice/qualifying/race pints
