The Midland group from 300ZX co.uk are returning to The Bubble at Stenson, just south of Derby on Sunday Jan 29.
This is the Jap Car Club day at the Bubble, so expect to see quite a variety of Jap machinery there. Great carvery and other food too. Interesting setting on the canal.
Z club members and casual browsers on this forum are all wecome as usual.
Ive got no time for artificial divisions etc between clubs.
For me its a people thing.... Just get a group of like minded Jap car owners together in a pleasant setting with a supply of good food and refreshments and ENJOY.
Post up if you fancy coming along. PM me if you want to ask in private about this meet and if neither of these options apply then just read and move on.

The Bubble is a super venue, good food, right price. Well worth the trip.
Don't think I'll make this one. Nathan will be back at Uni & I've got his car!
 
I will most certainly be there, but either in a passenger seat again, or my trusty Rover!! Boohoo!!

Neil, its always under MIDLANDS Group. Meetings/Events on 300ZX forum.
I try to put it here too to encourage others to come and join us.

Attended the Bubble today and what a good time you all missed, loads of Japanese motors (Skylines, RX7's, Supras, Celicas etc etc) especially the turn out of around 10 classy looking 300ZX's in various formats.

And you missed an excellent carvery at £5.75 a head for all you can fit on the plate. Hmmm! Nice.
Although it was cold today the weather stayed dry and we even had a little winter sunshine in the early afternoon.
The Jap car meet at the Bubble is a regular monthly affair and Im sure we will be going back in the summer when we can eat outside and maybe have a boat trip down the canal. LOL
With an ever increasing number of "joint members" in the two clubs(Z Club and 300ZX co.uk. I can see that joint meets are a way forward for the future.
Hopefully it wont be too long til we have some 350Zs and there owners out and about with us.
I know I am always banging on about getting out n about, but Im just gonna reiterate once more......
Regional meets ARE the cornerstone of ANY car club. It simply doesnt matter what car you have and what condition its in. Its being there that is important. It really is a meeting of like minded people, the car is of secondary importance. The atmosphere is invariably relaxed and friendly. There is always the opportunity to seek a litle tech help or pass some on and also to do buy/sell swop stuff. And anywhere we go food and liquid refreshments are always to hand. And virtually all the meets are "family friendly" too. Non enthusiasts, partners, Kidz are always welcome.
I know for some people first time meets can be a bit daunting but they really arent when you get there. And why not arrange to meet someone before hand and arrive in convoy.
Right .. Rant over...
Watch this part of the forum for more Midlands meets in Feb , Mar etc....
 
Got a valid point there Pete!-and I would like say that me and the wife had a nice day and the carvery was up to expectations!;) -see y'all soon!
