Back in a zed again at last!

Went to pick him up last night - he's a 1991 Short wheel base non turbo with 70,000km (43,000 miles) resprayed in what looks like a bayside blue kind of colour. It's Peach's old car if you know him so it's well looked after with little over 1000 miles a year on the mots(!)

It's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but i'm sending it off to the paintshop to have various bits tidied up and in the meantime i've got to replace the prop bearing and i'll be putting the red leather interior in, digi gauges and antera 309 wheels on along with my lowered suspension off the V8.

It was an absolute bargain for an unmolested non turbo at a grand and a bit (the previous owner is a mate of mine so i know its history) so can't wait to get started on tarting it up

Looks good on the picture and should be easier to run than a V8!

Colour - looks like my old 350Z - suits it.

It's nice, the bumper is a very slight shade darker (i think nissan skyline bayside blue) but it looks great especially under artifical light on a petrol forecourt - i was getting some very admiring glances from everyone when i stopped to fill up last night

Some more pictures since i started transferring from the grey car to the new one - sad to do it but i might keep the shell and strip it down to the bare minimum and start work on making it a drag car

I've got 50% of the leather panels in now and the stereo is basically working but still need to wire in the sub, etc.

Steering wheel and gauges still need to go in as well but it's looking good
