Well I’m sad to say I couldn’t make it on Saturday to Donnington, but as my 10 year old son was convinced he was going to win a mini that he had bought several tickets for in a raffle to support the Atwell-Wilson museum we decided we would go and see it being drawn today instead. Must admit we turned up quite late but were impressed as we pulled in and they announced Datsun 240Z over the speakers. What was really being announced was the best in show car which had been won by Richards 240Z.
Also got to see a 260z 2+2 which had originally come from UAE and had had a rhd conversion, sorry forgot the owners name but was fairly local I believe.
Not quite Donnington but still nice to see some other cars and get mine out for a blast. We also saw a Datsun 1500 which they had on display in the museum.
......we didn’t win the mini, but after an ice cream he had gotten over it.
