A little advice about LSD please.

I don't know much about LSD's but my Brother does.....he tells me not to get a Quaife as the way they keep the other wheel in traction is through gears in the dif and under some situations they don't work properly. Clutch LSD is the way to go (Apparently)

Having driven Z's with both diffs fitted around a track and on the drag strip, (few people have) I have managed to form my own opinions.... each to their own I guess;) .

Sean my definition of "quick" is the fastest time taken to get from point A to point B

Is there any other:conf2:.

I will leave you two to it. As I am sure this will now turn into something else
Nah, cant be bothered

Point A to point B - yes........in a straight line ?.....or around twisty bitz ?, including braking and changing up AND down gears.....?

Nah, your definition of 'quick' is too narrow for me.

As for Quaifes, obviously every Skyline got it wrong and therefore built up a world-renowned reputation on luck !

Still can't be bothered ?

And your little words "normally" aspirated - aint nothing "normal" about the way your car aspires !

obviously every Skyline got it wrong
Seeing as you are so specific in stating that every Skyline had a plate diff, which particular skyline are you on about exactly... turbo'd or non turbo'd, 4WD or 2WD, the C10, C110, R32, R33, R34, which one?
Some had an open diff, some didnt, some had a viscous differential, some didnt, some had an active diff, some didnt.....

Moving forward, lets take your argument to a logical conclusion......for example the Ferrari 360 Modena has paddle shift gears (rated by some as the best in the world).......but the Skylines didnt, therefore by your logic......paddle shift is crap and Ferrari have got it all wrong.

and therefore built up a world-renowned reputation on luck !
A reputation for what exactly:conf2: myth and hyperbole.
