Hi, thought i would fire up a thread on my 300zx. Will copy and paste from other threads i have then keep this one up to date aswell. Any here it is:

Well after finally getting all the paperwork etc sorted for my 300zx ( long story ), I went up to the garage where it has been for the last 2.5 years. Until Saturday it hadn't been touched, but still roared into life on the first turn of the key. Now she is looking a bit on the rough side just now but i will up date when iv had a chance to clean her up properly and mot+tax it. Anyway here we go:

18'' wheels with brand new rubber ( unsure what make the wheels are, anyone know? )
Samco hoses in red
Scorpion quad exhaust
Flip out dvd/cd player
New shocks and springs all round ( will be getting changed for coilovers )
Had new discs, pads and calipers before it went off the road

Gave the bonnet a better clean than i had the other day, Clayed it and some autoglym SRP. as i said really just to see how it is going to clean up, tbh the bonnet will need painted due to stone chips, time will tell on the rest of it.

So today i clayed and polished the rest of the car with the exception of the tailgate which is to far gone and defo needs sprayed. Tbh it has cleaned up pretty good, looking from a distance but up close it is really apparent it needs a full respray. So will be on to a cople of my mates who are painters to trade tomorrow see how much to paint it. Luckily i can get all the paint etc from work and i will do the prep work and strip down. Anyway heres the pics:

Thats where it is up to just now, over the course of this week i will be stripping of the wiper arms and cowling to freshen them up. Then will get my mate at nissan to order some windscreen trim clips so i can do them also. After that it is really just prepping for paint, though that may be after xmas due to an impending house purchase.

Let me know what you think.

Got a few more pics to fire up, will do so when im finished painting the wiper arms and cowling. Next thing is to decide if i either get a new spoiler or just take it off and smooth out the back end?

Its hard to beat the standered 89 spec rear spoiler I think but in fibreglass get rid of the rubber one as it acts like a sponge:)
