And for the greybeards amongst us, yes, it's the same Downton Engineering who fettled Minis back in the 60s. Actually, I should say "fettle" 'cos they're still doing it. (I got curious and rang them up.)

Cute fact 1 - the bloke who does the cylinders is the same one who was doing it back then.

Cute fact 2 - they got into this import/export with Japan as they export fettled Minis both old and new to Japan. Hooray for UK engineering!
