280zx turbo

Yeah spotted this myself mate...

Looks like a decent car considering how rare the Turbo's are. I wonder if it will end up being canibalised for an earlier Z...

I hope the listing is correct as it is described as a left hooker when it is not!
 
It can't be an original turbo as I don't think any were imported into the UK (Mr F help here). It may be a Janspeed conversion though but we have no under bonnet pictures. I also notice that the turbo badges are from a saab 900. Am I just being picky?
Well it is only up the road so I might take a look!
 
No official UK turbos from Nissan. Janspeed was the conversion of choice and retained Nissan warranty.
 
there can not be many of these janspeed conversions left now
 
id be well up for this myself but as we are moving house at the end of the month im kind of stuck for cash and room for it winch is a bit poo as i do love the 280 2seater its the only one of my Zs i should never have sold:(
 
I seem to remember that What Car tested a Red automatic 280zx turbo which had the Janspeed conversion?...Wonder if it's the same car?
