280ZX as a daily driver?

My daily driver is looking abit tired, it has 180,000 miles on the clock and will need replacing soon.

I wondered how practical it is to get a 280ZX and use it as my daily run about. I've never owned one and really like the 2 seater no targa version (ok, its already not practical <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> ). It wont be garaged so I'm wondering how feasible this is? Will i be constantly welding ever year?

shoudn't be a problem as long as you remember a few basic rules.The car you are going to buy is going to be old.Be prepared for this and treat the car with care.The engine if a good one will go on for years,however make sure you have got good oil pressure as this is vital.Spares are relatively cheap especialy if you go through the club and use the technicaladvice on offer.Happy motoring.
