280ZX 2 seater Passenger door

I have been stripping down the doors to investigate the repairs. The drivers door does need some welding and wont be easy but the passenger door is pretty terminal.

The door was so chock full of filler to the extent it weighed easily over double the weight of the other one.

pics attached, I'll let you make your own opinion about the past restoration.

PLEASE, does anyone have a passenger door? One that isnt AS bad as this one?!

With this particular door, every little helps on it. There are far more issues than just the bottom but repair panels will make life FAR easier. I just put it out there to see if there is another passenger door though. Surely no other is as bad as this one!

Would a new lower door skin last as well as this one did? lol

They are made from Zintec so should last better than plain steel...

If you thought that the drivers side 2+2 door I have advertized was any use for cutting out some sections then you can have it. Ultimately it will end up in a skip

Thanks guys, much appreciated.I think that 2+2 door would be a closer fit, unfortunately it's the passenger side I have nicknamed frankendoor due to the big patch job at the top/around the handle too!

Is the Z31door no good? You could re use the skin I thought?
