I think all Z's are worth more in the states all round aren't they? They have a bigger following there, that's for sure. It would be nice to think 280zx's are worth that much, but I think it'll be a few years yet, in Britain at least.

We have just acquired similar car in red with almost the same mileage, slightly more as its a 1980 but same story been garaged with occasional use.

If I am not being too cheeky, how much did you pay? I bought mine for £2,650 back in 2006 it had done 48k miles, and was garaged unused for 15 years in its past. Not sure how much good examples are going for these days. I know they are increasing in value, that is what prompted this post ie: £17,000 ??? really? :eek:

The USA market is very different to UK one so don't use it as a yardstick.;). Your post however raises an interesting question, has a (used) s130 sold for more than £5k ?
