260z Maiden Voyage

How are you getting on with this? Is it going well, got it handling yet?
If you have any more photos of how the fuel tank looks.

Cars going much the same but getting better with use
Suspension wise i've removed the rear roll bar just so it could be driven harder ;)
Sure its soggy in/out of bends but i've got used to that now
Spent today sorting out the annoying creaking front suspension
Now drives soooo much nicer without sounding like a horse n cart lol

Next weekend I hope to get the steering sorted

I did take a pic today but sorry it doesn't show the tank much.
Good or bad thing ?

Looks awesome. You can drive with a smile on your face in that great car.
I hope in 2 years with my 260z 2+2.
I am now restoring the bottom.

Greetz.

Many thanks. Its a long slog but it will be worth it in the end

As for mine I hope I've now sorted the notchy steering
Sure I woke up bright n early .. ish ;) with full intention of getting out there and sorting it
But after firing it up I couldn't resist a 100+ mile joy ride :driving:
Now I've finished me jolly I pulled the lower column/uj out
From what I can see I'm sure the lower column shaft has been catching on the bush I had made up.
I've cleaned it up so it all spins free so hope to get it all back together asap to finalise me power steering kit ;)
Soon see :D

After that back to getting the rear rollbar sorted and then onto a rolling road :)
