Looking good bud. I should come see your Z next time I'm down south, I grew up in Banstead and currently have to drive down south about once a month. Next time I'm down there is end of April I think, will be staying at the Premier Inn on the Brighton Road at Burgh Heath and one of my colleagues lives in Redhill, so definitely should say hello :D

yes defo mate.im not a million miles away.near the east surrey hospital.im hopeing that the chassis rails and boot area will be finished this week.have an engine and brand new clutch etc ready to go in.should be home to me in next couple of weeks.then i have lots of little bits n pieces to do to her.as id like it on the road summer ish.itl just be rough round edges til i get money for paint job

My Z32 is in a similar state. Had the sills replaced with OEM items, replaced the suspension, most of the interior, rebuilt the top end of the engine etc. etc. It's really getting close now, but still very tatty until we finally get the respray sorted :D I'll let you know next time I'm down, see if we can organise some kind of mini meet somewhere near by.

well im not sure what south east groups next meet will be.we was talking maybe gatwick manor.but i guess that would be may?.or it might be somewhere completley diffrent?haha.my brother wants to get to meets as well.he has a mint 200sx and he lives in banstead.how often you down this way?

About once a month usually. Depending on what I have to do and what's going on each month, depends on whether I bring the Z, bring one of the Diesels or get the train down to Hammersmith (Where my office is) every day. I prefer bringing the Z over everything else, but it isn't always practical with it still being a project. We try to keep it on the road as much as we can, but you know how it is.

ok.well keep in touch on the site or pm me nearer to time.as i guess people will know what there up to.i do 4 on 4 off nights.so i get on here more afternoons normally

Aside from when I'm down south, I work from home, so I'm around all the time, lol. Plus my job is to actually be at my computer and solve problems as they come in, so I really am here all the time :D

I'll pm you or possibly even put up a post suggesting a little mini meet at a pub that's local for next time I'm down. Somewhere like the Kings Head in Crawley Down is a nice place, good food, plenty of parking space and plenty of space inside too, plus it's only a hop and a skip down the M23.

Only trouble was last time, we'd scheduled the meet, loads said they would turn up and only 2 of us did, because some lorry driver lost it on the M25 and they had to re-cover the M25 around junctions 8 - 10 in both directions, so traffic was nuts for about 2 days.

My Z31 is almost as bad, I think the rust free panel is the bonnet. :(

Gonna need some major work, but hopefully can do most of it myself.
