240z loom problem.help pls

hi all

I had a major wiring issue with my 1973 240z.ive had to change the dash and and engine loom.

now everything has been changed im left with my hands on my head???

there is a small loom that I have no idea where it goes.my indicators don't work but my hazards do.

my heater loom as a few wires which I don't know where they go either.

ill post some pictures up in the next 5 mins.

This plugs into the loom but the wires to match up.

On my 260 I think the red/white in the bottom pic is the headlights and main beam. Are those working?

This probably won't help a lot but it's important to understand that not all the plugs are used. The UK market didn't have air con but all the plugs are there. The small white plugin the top picture I think is to do with the heated rear screen. The white with red tracer is to do with the perm live side of things I think. Wether is goes on the column or it might go on the back of the fuse box I can't rightly remember. I live relatively close to North London. If you want to comeup and take pictures of the wiring your more than welcome.

Yeah Mike has a good point not all are used in the loom, the best suggestion I can make as I dont know without being there and working it all out is, google a wiring diagram they are out there and some are coloured in too so just match it all up and in theory it should all work as long as there isnt too much bodge work. the first image looks like some sort of earth to me with an inline fuse for something.

Thanks for the replies guys. Mike your right about the heated rear screen plug . The white with red goes to the fuse box as its got a ring terminal .

But its the main end if the plug with 4 wires .

And there is 2 in line fuses also.

Pm me mike your address mate . I would luv to come down and have a look.

I've got most the diagrams but I couldn't see anything with the 4 pin plug .

thanks to MaximG I now know what im missing.

I need a heater rear switch relay the loom to go with it.

part numbers are

relay 25230 E4100
loom 24024 E8200
