240 260 2+2 spares

I am off to look at a {73) 240 and a 2602+2 which are being broken for spares if anyone needs any bits let me know and I may be able to get them removed for you.

ok boys I will take a look for you. I think I have a harness from a 240Z How can I identify the 240Z harness I may have coiled up in a big bucket? If not I will try and get the other for you.
Sean I will look at the console for you.

Anymore takers for parts?
 
if it's a 240 harness the connector for the wiper motor should be a square plug not round like a 260 also won't have the group of fusable links which mount on the drivers wing. Not sure of any other ways to id the 240 harness I dont mind what year it's from as it will be modified once I get hold of it.

Went last night.. brought tears to my eyes.. Centre consol of the 260 2+2 is cracked in several places.
Wiring loom is on the 240 BUT the cars are off to the scrappers this weekend I will try to get the loom out.. the cars both are in a sad old state beyond repair. Shame. they have both stood outside for 10 years.. I am off over tonight to spend an hour or two removing what I can that may be of use. There is a GOOD 240 engine which has been in the garage {dry} for 10 years.
Front cross memeber. seats { need recovering} I am having the screens out and all the glass off the 240.
I will salvage what i can it may be some use to us later.. shame to waste it.

It is a sodding shame that I dont have more time to get all the bits off..Beggar..
 
If you have to cut the harness out to make it quick and easier to remove then I don't mind as it's only going to be used as a base for a template and for some of the connectors.

I will check the loft, I think I have a spare that has the standard choke lever crack, but i'll have to check if your interested? Also stainless roof trims I have.

Even I would not be foolhardy enough to attempt a resoration on the 240 or the 260. THere was just not enough left to restore. You remember the Z found in a field? Well imagine that and then think 3 times worse. No floors, rotter rear quarters, rotten rails basically.. a dead Z.
I have salvaged some parts.. rear lights decent..Ignition lock, collum light switches, new Off side sill , Door glass..Windscreen plus little bits and bobs. worth the effort.

I am negotiating for the engine and a decent pair of front wings.. tata,
 
Chap will not part with the V5's cant blame him really.. says he would be breaking the law.. Which of course he would be...
