Please don't forget to show your respect at 12pm today and observe the 2 minutes silence in memory of the innocent people, from all faiths, who lost their lives last week in the London bombings.

Joined crowd outside my office at 12 (Formerly CU Tower, now Aviva) in the City.

This is the downside of democracy, where our own freedoms are used against us.

I stood in my local indoor shopping centre - very sad. The entire place was silent, you could hear a pin drop. With people behaving like that terrorism will never win, there are too many people who refuse to let it taint their lives.

Tony and Mr G - as an ex IBMer I spent a lot of time in and around the City where you guys were. Lots of customers within walking distance.

I was actually on the bog but I still waited (listening on the radio)...pulled the chain right at the end!!....bloody terrible, but what these fuckers dont realise is that us British are a resiliant lot to say the least, and I can assure you we wont be beaten by a bunch of half wit dim wit pricks.

Rule Brittania.

Simon 'not in the slightest bit racist, but very proud to be British' Adams.
