17" wheels and tyres

Hi,

Does anyone run 17" wheels on their 260z, if so what are they like to live with. If I go this route I am looking at 9.5J. Does anyone also know what size tyre would work well for this setup?

If this is just a bad idea, please let me know your thoughts.

I'm running 17's on my 260Z. No problems what so ever, although my 17's are only 7j not 9.5.
I am tempted to go 9 or 9.5 on my 280Z but not sure if I really want to hack the standard arches about. But if I do I'll likely go (much)smaller than the 17's I have on the 260Z, purely for aesthetic reasons. One cars tyres big sidewalls, one cars tyres small sidewalls. I really like both looks

I have a g nose wide body kit, so hoping they will be wide enough for the wheels

hi i have rota 17 X 8.5 on standard suspention if i little drop of 40mm .only touch on the strut so light trim and happy days .the overall size in hight between the stock wheels and new one was 30mm
