Yep, its what is called proxy bidding. Ebay automatically increments your bid up to your maximum.

In the ideal world, maybe! However, we live in the real world where hosting costs, software costs, insurance costs etc all have to be met and its a little unfair when people just use the place to 'fill their pockets' and dangle the proverbial carrot to the paying members without putting even...

Not a problem :) It will take some getting used to. You're given the choice because they are the categories that you're 'allowed' to post in. Whatever you chose, it will go into the moderation queue and be placed into members only for 7 days. I'll admit we've fallen short by not making it...
