Hi. Apologies if this seems like a silly question … but how does the forced ventilation lever ( between the steering wheel and drivers door on my 260Z operate ? Does pulling it out mean air is recycled in the car and pushing it in keep fresh air coming in? Or the other way round ?

Hi all-I’ve just joined. I’ve recently bought this 1974 260Z. Had a thorough service a month or so ago and no major issues found. I’ll be changing the seats, having a retro stereo fitted and have 2 tiny dents knocked out. Other than that I’m just looking forward to driving the car I’ve wanted...
