Tyre Options - Seeking guidance from you wise ones

For now, yep keeping the wheels and no current plans to lower Spec - No idea (how do I find out?) They came with the car. Is it a case of getting the tape measure out? Are these wheels a common standard option at the time? If so, highly likely all standard.

Tyre Options - Seeking guidance from you wise ones

Greetings All, Hoping you and your loved ones are all safe & well and keeping positive with this latest lockdown. I'm just seeking some tyre clarification/guidance. I have a 1975 280z (stock) on Turbines/Western Wheels (what is the actual proper name for these wheels?) and some ancient...

    Wiper Blades - 280z 1975

I'm assuming the former? They seem so fragile I'm hesitant to poke and prod. I'm sure it's straight forward once you know how. As a side, does a haynes manual helpm with basic stuff like this ?

    Does anybody want Headlight Covers?

Potentially a silly question. These are purely aesthetic or do they serve a greater purpose? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

    Wiper Blades - 280z 1975

Hi All, I got caught in a bit of a heavy downpour (my first experience in the rain) and it wasn’t the most pleasant. I’m hazarding a guess that the blades need replacing or is this something I need to accept due to the age of the vehicle and wipers not being as good as more modern cars...

    Insurance time.

They don't show up too great on a Google search, but ultimately it's all down to real life and when it comes to ever needing a pay out. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

    Insurance time.

Bit late for me for this year, in my haste I used Footman James, which doesn't seem to be getting a mention. Suspect that's one to avoid [emoji849] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

How to apply for MOT Exemption?

Question if I may... Possibly overthinking things 1975 280z Registered historic (So tax exempt), but back in Feb, I had the MOT done. Does that mean I need to continue to MOT yearly before expiry or can I let the MOT lapse, as I fancy doing the service/MOT in the warmer summer months...

    Fuse: Fast or Slow Blow???

Thanks for your response Toopy. A bunch of fast blow picked up. I'll need to get back to the car to see how the last couple of fuses have blown, but I'm sure it was a clean break as much as the strip between both points had blown. On a side note anything in particular you clean your fuse...

    Fuse: Fast or Slow Blow???

Hi All, No idea if this is a stupid question. Which work better for vehicles in general (I have a 280z) slow blow or fast blow? Is there a noticeable difference in quality? If so where can I get good quality ones from? I had a blown dome light fuse which I replaced not so long ago and the...

Welcome to the Terrordome - Interior Dome Light

Problem Solved - After removal of the light casing the bulb looked fine. I checked the fuse box (passenger footwell) and I had a couple of blown fuses that I've now replaced. Assuming, that's the only place you have fuses on a 280z?

Congratulations, first dibs for your services when you're inevitably bored and wanting a new challenge. Hopefully a 280z will be cool enough by then [emoji4]
