Problem Solved - After removal of the light casing the bulb looked fine. I checked the fuse box (passenger footwell) and I had a couple of blown fuses that I've now replaced. Assuming, that's the only place you have fuses on a 280z?

It's so easy when you know how. I was trying to remove just the white bit, so greatly appreciated.
