I fitted a new Webasto frame and kit during my restoration. The roof is not noisy at all when closed and does not leak. Most of the noisy/ leaky ones are poorly fitted or in need of some repair.

The only way to really sort out carb and ignition setup is on a rolling road. I had my car set up last year and runs perfect, until then it ran lean at tickover and rich at full throttle. Some new needles custom ground were fitted there and then. Cost is around £60 an hour but well worth it...
