Hi Guys Well I know I haven't posted on here since I started the restoration but heres a quick summary of the work that I've done on the car. The car was stripped down to a bare shell, restoring parts as they were removed

Thanks for the help guys. I think I have got to the bottom of this now, It appears that the original colour of my car was indeed 110 Red & the exterior has been repainted somewhere near 918 Orange. Above is the bonnet inspection panel with the top coat of paint ground off on the corner...

I have just seen the pictures, 918 is what I want it to be & the exterior although a little faded is pretty much there, perhaps it was originally 110, I see that also came with the White interior option

Hmm now you have me thinking? It's definitely more orange than red on the original unmolested panels, I think I'll speak again with my paint man & see if I can borrow his Datsun swatches, I doubt he uses them on a daily basis
