Sorry, who are you using for your copy? Phone typo!
So good I posted it thrice! It's a pujitsubo exhaust. Planning on getting this made with the help of a TIG welder (person not machine).
At the risk of appearing a bit thick, still not sure what you mean, I've modelled it on CAD and will get a welder I know to weld it up (it's designed around standard bends, so no tube bending involved, is that what you mean?).Sorry, who are you using for your copy? Phone typo!
Probs be much the same as the Fujitsubo in that regard, not planning on doing any rallying so maybe not a huge problem.Interesting enough, but the opposite of the thread title.
Nevertheless, I'm interested as to how it will fare road clearance-wise with the two pipes not split when they go around the differential area. The factory split the twin pipes at that point - providing a double cutout in the forward diff crossmember and two hanger mounting points - in order to allow the maximum vertical clearance:View attachment 38830 View attachment 38831

Very much in the 'spirit of'.Thats the newer one that tucks up a lot tighter than the first version(which they had on sale for 20ish years!).
have you copied one of theirs directly or is it 'in the spirit of'?
It'll be made in sections, downpipe front section, centre boxes, rear pipes, rear box and tweaked as neccessary. The (new) Fujitsubo Legalis is very well packaged, and I would imagine it has taken a lot of time for them to get it to fit so well. The factory twin pipe system's shape and routing - in contrast - is very likely much more forgiving and tweakable for individual fit (I can attest to this, having an original factory system on one of my cars) so I'd be nervous about getting a one-off made in the same routing/packaging as the Fujitsubo system. Might need quite a lot of tweaking.

Mine is a funny one. Badly welded brackets and a bit low - seems to be quite a way more under the diff than it should be I think ...
Looks to have glasspacks in the middle and no silencer after that - those to pipes run to the back.
I think Sean's system only works with headers ...
Erm, can’t work our what’s vanished?

Ah 'uck what did I miss.Falsehoods and corrections. Both down the same plughole.
Meanwhile, check out the parallel 'Exhaust Options' thread for top class 'Bantz' being given a free pass.
