But there is no proof that the cars settings hasn't been tweaked above what you have stated.
 
I think we may have to. I tried it maxed out and it's more of a hand full, I guess part of the fun is finding the happy medium.

mmmm point made,maybe the answers lays in gran turismo mode pic the lm z from your garage ,go to world circuits and free run,there you can save the replay too,as for the car setup ,well apart from yourselves fine tuning your car to no limits,its not all that fair for the persons not knowing how to fine tune there z,so making it slightly unfair,the memory save does not show the car setup when the car was raced,it could have been changed,it would be up to the individual to be honest of his/her work,anyway the day we all meet up to prove our times with our memory cards we would all find out what your car was realy like,(ie)your time would tell if on the day, we all have a blast with the same car seup.
well how many ps2,s will there be at billing this year??? i can see some cars fitted with there tft creens and ps2,s hiding away in a corner market gt4 z,s Club Z.
Incidently my times are:
the LM Z in question ----------------------------------------------6.05,445
my favorites z31 turbo standars with slicks-------------------------8.33,203 better than clarkson,s jag
and for my tuned z31--------------------------------------------- 7.33,893 which crashed many times as have a handling isue only,a terrible time for the power increase.

If we stick to the arcade area then it stays an even playing field.

At the beginnning of the replay it tells you what bhp the car makes as well to keep it fair :)
 
this might be a more simple competition russ, with no modifying,
lets see wat the others think and perhaps start a new challenge
 
The modifying in arcade takes two seconds and makes the car much better. Just move the slider to -10% of weight and thats it :)
 
It takes into account the modifying though, I have a replay of the Astra touring car which says 545bhp, standard the car is 454 or so :)
 
Ok, I see what you mean when you save the replay - it tells you what the BHP is (608bhp right? ) as the replay starts.

I had just been saving the ghost and looking at the Rankings.

More times/ competitors please gentlemen.

i like my wheels and pedals too,cant beat it, i,ve even got my old z31 seats for special days, link lead gt3 games,2 x tv,s,,,,2 x ps2,s,,,2 x z31 car seats for comfort,,and 2 x gt3 force feedback wheels n pedals,manual inside car camera,
with the new gt4 we will have to lan it now via broadband conection :)
 
Yeh I'm up for some lan play over Easter if your about George :)

I heard a rumour you can use 3 tvs with Gran Turismo, front view and both windows... :D

When the next student loan comes through gonna get a steering wheel, apparently its impossible to complete the game without one really!

I would be up for it yeah ! but,,,you need a broadband connection,our village up here only got it a few months ago,i enquired about it last week and still waiting on a tech.,,,,,,,you also need either a new slimline ps2 that has a built in network card or,as iv,e been looking online a ps2 network adaptor goes in the back £17.00,i think i will get a new ps2 slimline £99.00 BUILT IN.
But maybe someone else can hook up in the meantime,it can take up to 6 players at a single time,would be great to see all the zeders at it online.
So as soon as i,m organised up here,you will know,i,ll fall in at the back of the grid.

3 tvs,front & side windows,i dont know how you do that yet but i too have heard it,what time did you get over the weekend? also strugling a wee bit getting my tuned z31 turbo under 7 mins 02 secs.

To be honest I haven't touched playstation, have my disseration due in April 22nd :(

Lets us know if/when you get broadband and we'll organise something. I am going to spend the extra and get a slimline PS2, then my old PS2 can go in my bedroom for Saturday morning racing :D The new slimline one isn't just slim! Its microscopic, I thought it was just a bit thinner but its about 1/8th of the original volume!

Disappointed we haven't had any more times yet, I know there are those of you out there who are playing PS2! Don't feel bad if you only make it round in 8 minutes! The more the merrier :D
