Was £21, then £15....now £12

If one wanted to buy and another to sell, why ddn't you both do the intelligent thing as club members and talk to each other to negociate a price acceptable to both sides....?

Is this typical of societies where we spend too much time behind keyboards ?

I wouldn't buy his car just because of his attitude but then maybe that's just me? Even if someone offered it me for a stupid amount I'd take more pleasure in turning it down...

I have now banned Scott.

Three members have suggested he should be banned, I agree and also he has had a short ban and not changed his ways.

I let the Thread run for a while because I wanted to see if he would admit to his auction 'irregularities' .

I'm an honest chap and there is no way I would start a auction for a car at a price I wouldn't accept. Surely that's what a 'reserve' is for. When I've sold on ebay I've started the item at my lowest acceptable figure - I know the theory that starting low drags people in BUT.....

I had the cash and would have gone through with the purchase. I've seen the car when it was parked at a show in Bristol but I didn't get to meet Scott.

I'm not in the market for that car anymore.

Quite loutish behaviour from Escortsn. I would expect male escorts to be more civil. Business must be a bit thin in the ground for the poor chap, behaving in such a way. Hence the reason for the sale I guess!

Thing is, the car still failed to sell ... or gain any decently high offers, there was nothing in the advert to make you interested in the car other than the fact he thought it was a decent candidate for a RHD conversion (!)

The ad did NOTHING for the car. We know that. And he has now realised that. Is he going to admit it, no way! He'll just come on and abuse people who had an opinion he didn't agree with ... great. Learn from it! (and amend the ad)

I think its a bargain at the minute - Would like to look around though as I am surprised it has not sold...must be hiding something surely?

There's nothing in the ad that makes you want to go see it in my view. He's not a salesman, that's for sure!
Well that's one point in his favour then. :p
It looks a very nice car. I've no idea if its a good price or not, but if I thought it was and I was in the market, I'd try very hard not to let him calling me a prick a couple of weeks ago colour my judgement.

Yep Sean. Getting close to 30% off now. The forecasts for both Euro and Dollar are saying its still got further to drop in the next year to 18 months so no sign of improvement until at least 2018.
