Intercooler wise a lot of people are against front mounts firstly as it is not to their taste and secondly an illusion that it creates cooling issues as it sits in front of the radiator. You will get arguments for and against all day long which hold no evidential first hand proof.
Side mount wise it would be ideal to create more room for airflow from the front, with a different bumper, or the rear by removing and relocating the parts that are restricting in that area. I saw a set of Stillen side mounts up for sale in the US the other day. Ashspec are another good make of side mounts IMO. Then you get into the territory of US company own brand ones such as Z1, CZP or AMS etc. There is a HKS front mount on eBay at the moment. I myself have a Greddy 2 row front mount on mine as it creates maximum airflow through it along with my wings west bumper.
A lot is personal preference I can just give my engineering view and others will have their own view as I said and swear that their eBay front mount is a good as a Greddy one. It all gets quite comical
