I've looked on here for photos - nothing.

Anyone got any and other info for titting, experience, brands preferred etc - please ?

I can probably help you Sean as I have done blower conversions on evrything from motorcycles to big block v8's. However, Ive gotta admit Ive no clue what a L-gata is mate? If you could pm me details or email I could point you in the right direction Im sure

unless its a typo:rofl:

Joking aside one of our previous members ran one down the drag strip (Dean Bottriel ran a 13.871 in 1999)

A certain bearded wiz has a blower (deans old one I think) hooked up to an L series awaiting a few finishing touches (check his signature) which is now sold

Several people in the states have done it (see Video link excellent whine)
Supercharged L28~L31 240z. Killer Sound! - Car Videos on StreetFire

Just search for supercharged 240Z and they pop up as if by magic...some are V8's of course but they filter out

I have a customer with a supercharged 240Z in progress - he has promised pictures soon...

I'll try and get a shot or two of my historic piece - as Mr. Kiddell says, previously on the Bottriell 240Z blowing through triple carbs and before that on Tim Riley's 240Z sucking on a couple of 2" SUs (if I remember rightly). Might have an old pic somewhere if I have time to browse.

My 280ZX (in theory) is sold and will depart from these shores, but the customer may require that I get it finished and running first - I hope so!

I would very much appreciate any and all photos.

I remember Tims' - blowing the dip-stick out of the block at Goodwood !

What kind would you go for (what's the application?), positive displacement or dynamic compressors. Blowers. Love 'em!

I prefer the design where the charger is on the spark plug side of the engine, the charger can get hot and will only heat up the intake manifold when on the intake side.

By having it on the plug side also gives you more room for piping etc to run a charger turbo set up ;)
