Shouldn't some Japanese collector be jumping at it...RHD and all that...?
Got to be keenly priced despite the shipping compared to JDM prices ?

Many of their home market cars had better spec so I cant see the attraction for a Japanese collector really?
I would have had this. Hope it’s a deserving owner
It is thought to be the Esso Uniflo-sponsored championship in 1973.
It appears to be a fairly original uk car that's had a beating (off-road rallied) and neglected for many years. By today's standard the asking price was about right. It will take quite a lot of work and money to get it 'nice'.
In addition to yours - a cool, 100% stock UK Z ?
We all need two S30s.
It's a shame that rally and race cars these days are so highly modified that they cost a fortune.
I had a plan for it.
"had" ?

If it's just fun you want and not to be on the podium, historic rallying need not be expensive to prepare. It's the participation that costs (travel, accomodation, entry fees, insurance, date-homologated equipment...the 'recent' change to thicker bars for roll-cages caught some people out, left with equipment unsellable !).
