Rust in piece

In a similar vein, there's a red 260Z that's been sitting under a manky tarp at the back of a garage just outside London for well over a year (maybe 2?) It must be rotting under there.

I always wonder what the story is behind it when I pass it on the train.

Here's a (very bad) photo I took from the train back in April. I knew I'd taken a snap at some point.

I've known the white car for many years. In the '80's when I sold my 240z, i knocked on his door and gave him all my old zclub magazines. Back then it was parked outside his house in Manor Road Benfleet. It sat there, on the grass, for another 15-20years. He kept saying he was going to restore it but he never did. I've asked about selling it on a number of occasions over the last 35year but he still thinks he will get it on the road. It's now beyond salvaging.

Had this sent to me😟
I have got a similar sorry looking looking Z which has been in the garage for 20 years but it has to go as the garages are up for sale , beyond repair but has a nice dash and lots of good interior as it has been in the dark for so long.

Don’t forget to take the keys off the dash - someone other than the atmosphere might steal it ….

All the glass bar the windscreen and majority of interior is unique to 2+2, so definitely value there.
