RHD converted 280Z on eBay

Well, if that’s as good as it looks and the details are good, that’s a good price. For those that want that look with the flares and loss of the rear bumper etc, certainly worth a look.

It’s only £6k more than that ‘total rebuild needed’ UK 240z that sold the other day!

Nice mota. The only thing that sticks out for me is that it's a 4 speed. They've done a lot of work so it seems a shame not to do that.

I still would though!

Nice!

It looks like it’s been done pretty well. Take a look at the insta images.

The 4 speed, side skirts and indent left on the rear are not to my tastes but I’m being picky. It looks a good car overall.

I'm not that keen on the skirts or bumper-less look but, being a fan of ZG style flares, I like the overall look of the car.
Providing it has been restored to a good standard, you could always tailor it more to your personal taste.
However, if the arches are cut and you don't like flares, it could become expensive.

It’s like 2 or 3 people built it together but never spoke to each other .

- Let’s make it nice and smooth
- I like angular louvres
- side skirts will break up those lovely lines
And
- bring in the retard to chose the gear knob

Agreed it may not suit everyone, but that’s life isn’t, can’t all have the same narrow outlook, just look at Japan’s modified scene, it caters for all tastes.
I would guess it came in with most of the kit on it and it saves dealing with (possibly) a wonky sill.
The car looks to be well sorted, there’s a lot of money gone into it, must be a few quid in the engine alone.

True. I also think there's lot of money in filler to square off the rear end like that :)

Not a bad motor for the price! As mentioned pictures can be deceiving and I’d want to make sure that bodywork has been done correctly. The rest of the car seems to have been done to a good standard though so hope so?

Lots of people saying it’s not to their taste but it wouldn’t take much to tailor it to your individual tastes and in the meantime you’ve got a sorted car you can get out and enjoy!

Agreed, gearbox change shouldn't be too difficult and the gear knob is a 2 minute job. Side skirts would have to go but the rest is OK.

That rear Vallance might be tricky to correct also

It would depend on how the bumper mount indents were addressed.
You could look on the inside of the panel to see if they were just filled, then a die grinder (or similar) could be used to remove the filler.
If they were cut out and new plate welded in, you might get away with a custom bracket and a doubler plate on the inside of the panel.

its not the bumper indents, its the whole shape, look at how square it is.
