Off for op tommorrrow

Not in the slightest Steve, the wrong prescription could put you right where my dad is. He's currently 'comfortable', but now that he's on the main ward with tonnes of sick people around him and we can only visit for 2 hours a day, he's depressed and lonely. He still can't move as his re-hab from the hip op is no where near complete, so he's imobile as well as isolated and staring at what is essentially a horrid, depressing ward. We all have our fingers crossed that his bowel wakes up and he can go back to finish his re-hab in the private hospital.

Well my dad just rang me from the hospital and they're finally discharging him. His bowel has moved and he's in the clear, physio for the last couple of days means he can walk on crutches, so he's getting a hospital transport home in an hour or so :D Had to share the good news :D

Scratch that, they decided to prove me right and **** it all up again, they forgot to get the prescription he needed for his blood thinners to send him home, so now he's ******* stuck there for another night! This is completely typical of THIS hospital, as I said in my first post.

Does a mod want to move my **** out of Steves thread? I've accidentally kinda hijacked it because of circumstances, sorry Steve.

No Probs from me using it to vent frustration and anger hijack away:flyingpig:
Let the steam out and don't bottle it up
Was the reason that I posted up my post re the mistakes that happened on my discharge

Stay calm bud and try and look forward to tomorrow when your dad is discharged
