Hi all,

I'm in the market for a z31 300zx. So I'd thought I'd join an owners club to get some information.

Welcome, so why a Z31 - I'm not questioning your judgment just wondering why?

Have you owned a Z Nissan before?

Turbo or N/A.

Budget?

Well basically, I'm looking for an old retro car. I was toying with the idea of a mk3 supra as well I also would like something that not many people have. I've had a few e30's and would like to buy something a bit different.

I'm willing to pay up to £7000 for the right one. Ideally turbo but these seem very hard to find!

I'm willing to pay up to £7000 !

In that case look at "non zed" nissan's from the 70's and 80's ;)

Datsun 510, 610, 710's etc, but they are scarce and good examples will will be over your ^ budget.

Looking for a RHD or open to LHD???

And I have never seen a RHD Z31 so I don't know if they were made in that config...LOL

Hi David. I've had a couple of Z31 Turbo's and enjoyed them. In the UK they are very rare now as most have rotted away. Non Turbo's are a bit more common but not as much Fun imo.

7K would buy you a decent Z32, if that floats your boat?

Not many people own Zs either - it's just we talk about them a lot.

But £7k will get you a decent Z32 (but running/servicing costs)....you'll get a mint Z31T for that but consider now a 350Z ?

They are not as common as a TT,cheap car and a lot for yer money,Z31 turbo, had one, enjoyed then moved it on,probably worse than a 240 or 260 for rust,

I do like the z32's but I Prefer the look of the z31 and I don't know anyone who has one! The 350z looks sweet! But quite a common car, I can defiantly see why v6 rear wheel drive and looks the nuts!

Has anyone turbod the vg30 na? From what I've read people just say buy the turbo one. That seems a lot easier said then done.

Prefer right hand drive. Do you have a LHD for sale?

I don't have one for sale. Just thinking that if you were ok with a LHD I could keep my eyes open for a clean original paint car, they do come up for sale occasionally and are not sought after here.
