Diablo Pro Split Rims

17 * 8.5 J Fronts
17 * 9.5 J Rears
Offset = +43

I'd run these with my 1.57480 Inch (40mm) Spacers... if they fit. ;)

The centers aren't in great condition so I'll be painting, powder coating or teflon coating them (black). The rims all look great, just need a polish.

They look great, I think they will look awesome once on the car. They kind of remind me of the old Lamborghini Countach alloys.

Hi,
I've seen telephone dial alloys on a Z32 and they looked quite nice!....Haven't seen any on a Z31 though.

Yeah I like them on the '32, would be nice to see them on a '31. Look in good condition like you said, most of those I've seen for sale are pretty rough :)

Pics fitted please! lol

So I was just 'blinging' the wheels & I thought to myself:
"Hmmm, these sure look big for 17's" (as they were advertised)

Got the measuring tape out. Real sizes:

Front 18X8.5

Rear 18X10

Oh... & did I say black? I meant gold obviously:

:D ... pic doesn't really do them justice.

Great looking wheels. they'd look even greater on my transit van, only I'd
do the centres in graphite gunmetal. DJZ 60.

For f**ks sake.

I've just been to the tyre shop...
(btw: sizes were wrong in previous post, I measured too much rim, they're 17's  )

I've got 215's to put on the 8.5J fronts... No stretch really, I dont like understeer.
No worries there except the rims are leaking between the splits.
I'm gonna have to split them and re-seal them, any tips?

So then the tyre guy starts the back wheels...
225's on a 9.5J

"Sorry mate, You've bough the wrong tyres. They're too narrow, they'll never fit."

Muppet.

Anyone tried that DIY can of deodorant in the tyre method?

YouTube - stretch on a rim

Dont split them . Just clean off all the seal showing and re do with Tiger Seal or similar.
IMO you need 235 fronts on an 8.5 rim or even 245
And a minimum 255 on the 9.5 rears.

Really? You think it'll be ok just doing it from the outside of the split/join?

Honestly, the 215's are fine on the fronts. They're not stretched, they sit inline with the rims.

The rears need to be stretched so that the tread sits under the arch.

Thanks for the advice,
