My first 300ZX

Cheers for the offer! Seriously, most of this car is only good for the scrap bin, having sat in a field for so long there is little left, only good things are engine, gearbox, brakes, wiring, t-tops, fuel pump, headlights and bonnet. I'm going to part it out and slice the shell up myself.

Hi mate, I have sent you a pm but am interested in the manual gearbox. How good a state is it in and do you know what model it is. Also cost.

Cheers
Neal

Neal - Haven't seen the PM come through yet so thought I'd stick a response here for speed.

The car has 77K on the clock and a service record that seems to bare this out until the car was laid up what looks to be over 10 years ago. The gearbox is the T5 type, however, having never driven the car (no wheels:D ) I cannot vouch for its condition, however having fired up the engine which sounds absolutley fine I can see no reason to believe that it would be knackered.

I'll drop you a PM re the cost.

Cheers,

Steve

Certainly not as far as I'm aware. I would of course be very interested if there was a way that did not require an MOT:D :D

Car has taken a turn for the worse, the rust monkeys got themselves power tools:devil:

I usually find it easier to drop the diff out from underneath - but you can do it by going in from the top if you like ;)
