Just seen a Samuri in the wild!

Just had a good start to the day - made being heinously late worth it as it put me at the right place at the right time. Having just passed through the Manchester Airport tunnels and getting onto the roundabout to join the M56 towards Manchester, I came up behind a Samuri caught in traffic on said roundabout. Registration OGS123M, Samuri standard livery, Enkei (or similar) mesh wheels (polished lip, white mesh), headed in the direction of Hale/Altrincham.

Does this mean another Z that I didn't previously know of is knocking about the Cheshire Plainz area?!

That's only the second time in 11 years of Z ownership that I've seen a Z randomly while out and about (the first time was Dave Porter on his way back from the Pod in his car in its pre-RB26 guise).

OGS123M is on the Samuri register online and I see Auto Active sold it a few years ago (it looks to have been blue and silver at one point).

Good to see a Z out - nice day for it, albeit rush hour traffic is not the optimal environment! :D

That's member 'Andy Smith' venturing from Herefordshire into the Cheshire PainZ - wonder if he has his passport?

Richie, you really are Mr Observant aren't you, if you look at this picture closely taken all of a couple of weeks ago there is the very same car parked next to...ermm yeah you :lol:

Andy's daily driver by the way, clocked up 22k between MOT's last year

I must have had 3 texts from friends telling me that they had seen my car out and about yesterday i had to call my dad to make sure the car was in the garage.

Then again, all those Samuris look the bloody same anyway!

Hi that's me! I made the brave decision 2 years ago to use it every day, sold my car and put it on the road. Done 35,000 in the last 2 years, cost me next to nothing to service, and no devaluation. I commute from Hereford to stoke every week, and travel all over the UK in it. I might be mad, but I love it!

That's brilliant! Thought I was the only person who used their car as a regular daily drive! Well done Andy! Next time you are up let me know and we will get together. I'm in Bramhall.

Catch up

Will do. I go to Mellor quite a bit hence being seen in Marple. Pal of mine owne the Oddfelows. Good job I am not having an affair, it's just appeared on the jenson web site too!
