James May and Damon Hill drive my 260Z!

Brilliant, set to record in case I get interupted, well done Rob irrespective of the result or how the car is portayed. :thumbs:

Thanks fior all the positive comments guys, which are appreciated. Any exposure of the car on national television has to be good for the club and the cars Just hope after all this build-up my car doesn't disappoint and is on screen for more than just a few minutes. My heart is going to be racing faster than the cars as the programme starts!
 
Incidentally, the Jaguar was brought to the track by a dealer. It is a silver V12 automatic in immaculate condition and the BBC guy told me it had a price tag of £194,000 on it!
 
There isn't a S3 V12 2+2 on the planet worth that money....in fact even a roadster isn't worth that unless it was one of the last 50 Commemoratives Plus auto is not desirable. Great big heavy wallowing bus....shame they didn't use an early car

Any way...thanks for the heads up. Just tried to set the planner to record but it clashes with War and Peace ffs.. Does BBC2 have a +1?

Your Z should walk this let alone a modded version !

Mate - read the book - so much better ! And they normally repeat W and P later in the week don't they ? And I think my parents can record at least two simutaneous programmes from here in France.....:unsure:
 
Yes it clashes with two big dramas - War and Peace and Endeavour. But I notice that the James May show will be repeated on Wedneaday on BBC2 at 11.25pm.

Doubt the E would be a better investment....They are the second most unloved Etype ever produced next to the Series 2 2+2

Auto is the icing on the cake that nobody wants

Not really sure what happened there or what the point was! How did the 260 actually win? Because it was slower, or did I miss hear it. Why did they cut out the lap with Damon driving the 260 so we didn't get to hear anything good about the car?

Great to see a s30 on tv but was hoping to hear a bit more praise of the cars
