Must say the 240Z is by far the better looking car & was penned all those years ago. A true classic & as we know the beauty is much more than skin deep.

Have to agree, the 240Z is a cracking looking car, it's like a piece of art to me, I often just walk around it and look from different angles, my wife thinks I'm mad :D

Lancia Stratos for me, just such a WTF??? moment when it was launched. As for replicas...you can buy yourself a Lister-Bell Stratos which is apparently as good a drive as the original and at £40K, £400K+ cheaper! If I was ten years younger and up for another project....but it would be to supplement, not replace, the beauty that is my 240Z.

I had the pleasure of bumping into Mick "OKJ" Cliff at a show earlier this summer. He told me that, as a new owner, he was spending time in the garage just looking at the beautiful shape of his Z. I bought my first one back in 1978, and I still do the same thing now, 38 years later.

If money was no object then it would have to be the 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB, a few years ago when this car belonged to it's previous owner I was lucky enough to get to see it in his private collection (and what a collection, trust me..!!!!).

Real world money although these are getting a bit stupid now would be a 911 930 Turbo in white and perhaps with Martini stripes.

Did you see them rallying in their day? I did and yes very exciting cars to see and hear.

1972, the year that Roger Clark won the RAC Rally and Waldegaard rolled a Stratos! He came through Dalby forest without the front windscreen and with the rear body missing.
It was an awesome sight - a wreck of a Stratos, spitting flames from its' exhaust and still going like the proverbial bat out of hell. Wonderful!

For a similar amount of money to the 240z I would have another Renault Alpine GTA V6 turbo, I had one when I was about 25 and was too young to appreciate it. Definitely and under appreciated classic and head turner.

Well I've got my MR2 Turbo to accompany the 240z we've just bought. I'm hoping one day I'll get my hands on my dads Austin Healey 3000 mk2a.

Not really attainable these days however I aspire to own an Alpine A110...

Money no issue and I could have one car it would either have to be an Aston Martin DB4 Zagato or a Singer Porsche 911....

A mid-80's V8 Vantage for me. I just love the noise and the housebrick looks... can't help it.

But I still prefer the Z!
