Yes John no air ducting pipes from the rad panel on the 78 260z not sure where the cool air comes from to the cabin think it must be from under the scuttle panel on a 78 car

This sort of work is what you can expect if you buy a cheap RHD z so beware if your look for one as for me it gives me something to do

Derrick, you need the rest of the car that the spare-wheel well came off. ;)

Unfortunately yes, very typical of a UK S30.

You're a brave man Derrick taking on such a major task, but then having seen what an amazing job you did with your 280zx all this is clearly just a stroll in the park for you

Went through the thread yesterday - fantastic job, really thorough ...

I'd love the space to be able to do this again - and have another car under cover as well ...

I think the divorce courts would loom pretty smartish though ,,,

Thanks to the rest of you for your comments :) and yes Rob would have been nice to have the rest of the car the wheel well came from :(

Heres the same pic but in focus

'Been there' with the floor out Derrick and my inner-sill was worse than yours. However my footwell was still in place.

You seem to have more metal in square tubing than you have in the body.

Derrick is that orange axle stand safe?

Keep the pictures coming - we know you can do it.

Edit: Are my eyes deceiving me - you seem to have a hump running full length of the floor where your left foot would be. Isn't that just from the seat backwards? Forwards the strengthening is under the floor?

Heres a couple more panels I've made zinc primed and ready to fit :)

this is where the above panel will go but on the inside of the a post plug welded in then seam weld all the edges the front edge will meet the fold on the new footwell panel and be welded to it as it should have been done will cut out 50mm hole for drain pipe later

Is that the original or replacement bulkhead Derrick?
