Does anyone know a source for the 2 heater hoses or a Nissan part number for the longer one?

Thanks

*27181-E4401 HOSE-WATER INLET (up to 06-72)
*27181-N3000 HOSE-WATER INLET (from 07-72)

*27185-E4401 HOSE-WATER OUTLET

Above is all up to August '73.
Inlet is the short one. Outlet is the long one.
When choosing based on your month/year is it when the car was manufactured (stamped on the door jam) or when it was registered?

I'd like to think 'manufactured' if coming from Nissan's stock, but I didn't want to assume with say; parts from thezstore for example?

Always, always go by production date where possible. Correctly identifying model variant and production date are vital, in my opinion.

Registration date can be totally misleading. Plenty of cars were registered in the UK months and even - in extreme cases - years after production.

The problem is that some parts suppliers - particularly in the USA - use terms such as 'Model Year', which is effectively a sales/marketing term and it is unwise to apply it to Japanese-made cars with any degree of certainty.

Yes, I had an issue with a handbrake cable from T3 as, they didn't know there was a variant: My car sits on the edge where they increased the size of the outer metal sleeves. (can't think of a better phrase to describe them)

Thanks Albrecht, the term 'Model Year' is definitely the one causing aggravation!
