German Cars

I wonder Rob, given that you clearly like to be a little 'different' (you own Z's) it may be worth looking at the VW Phaton. Probably similar to the Audi A8 or Merc S Class. VW threw everything at this car in its development and it is amazing. Hugh initial depreciation but second-hand are fabulous value. Having driven one its difficult to find fault. Wondering to get one myself!!

As you know Rob I swapped my 350Z for an Audi A5 sportback. It's a lovely car, but I miss my 350 so much. Stock with the 370

I have recently returned from a trip to the Isle of Skye in a 2.0 Passat 2005 diesel with 153,000 did 1146 miles used £130 of fuel well:), pleased with reliability for a higher mileage car, comfy too, mind you its well worn in !! Time of leaving 8.15 am Sunday sat at home 6.50pm Sunday night not bad going:D:D

I knew a company owner that did 50 miles a year and sold his at 250,000 still looked sweet and sounded great - superb motor.
