Anyone know if FRP Automotive is still going?

The website seems to have been pulled, I can't get through on the phone or via Facebook.

I believe it was run by Throttleton on here so wondered if anyone had any knowledge of whether or not he was still operating?

I was in contact with them just before xmas, told them what i wanted and was told sometime in january and never heard anything since even after sending message's. Totally not impressed.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE ******* MUPPETS !!

Tried to order a BRE front spoiler for my Zed with no reply
Eventually had a reply with a cost (albeit totally wrong !) wtf!!

After paying up front - 3 weeks later I asked for a expected time of arrival ?
After non reply (and not answering the fooking micky mouse mobile I was given) I gave up all hope
Have now been refunded via PayPal :thumbs:

Excuse being - these are bespoke parts ( no ****, well tell me when it will be made rather then ignore me)

Total ******* idiots and I don't mind saying so

DO NOT waste your time with these clowns !
You have been warned !!!!!!!!

How they are still a trader on here I do not know !!

Ha ha, Wyn seems pretty clear on his position on this :D

I wanted a carbon bonnet, but I think I'll just have to make one myself. The thieves at HMRC make the cost of importing one astronomical.

Has anyone bought the Honeybourne Mouldings S30 front wings?

I can understand that people and businesses run into problems but IMO they do themselves no favours. I've had nothing but bad experiences with them (lack of communication and blatantly lying. Been bitten twice and given them far too many chances. Would not give them another chance unless they improve their efficiency. Real shame.

I know how you feel Wyn.

Probably one of the most time consuming and frustrating parts of my build has been waiting on parts, or correcting things that were badly made from supposedly high quality suppliers.

Where possible now I try to avoid buying things and fabricate as much as possible myself. I'd hoped to be able to buy a carbon bonnet just because mold making and composite work is so time consuming but I can always save making one for a rainy day.

I'll be interested to hear if anyone has any thoughts on Honeybourne.

lmao..an awesome review there Wyn. . Glad you got your money back. Just had the same bs buying a shower deck. Why peeps can't just say 'I'm sorry we screwed up' instead of lying and wasting peeps time I don't know.

Thats all anyone needs to do, not string you along or ignore you, esp when you've paid up front !
