I drove up to Belgium and stayed overnight at a Dutch friends' place near Maastricht (he keeps Mini Coopers but we forgive each other).

Reason - collect some parts....surprised she din't notice the car trailer was missing, anyway, arrived back home with my TA22 and she exclaimed 'that's a p*tain car !' (smart girl - I married late so can't claim all the credit....) to which I replied - it's a non-runner - it's parts !

Love the optional map light between the mirrors, much better than the dash mounted one.
Very modern and up to date.

Alan - couldn't Nissan have carried on longer with the export S30s in, say, '280Z' guise, 5spd, L28E or S31 export-model with an L28 ?

True, re: the resto, but there is the fact that it is a JDM car and you ain't going to get a car like that for 10k in Japan anymore.proper fender mirrors (and this car will have had the later style ones, not the ones most are familiar with) etc.,

Like these ones? :D I recently picked up an early s31 and all the bits are there... well except the replacement doors ( guy thought it was a 240 so got 240 replacement doors :/ ) I prefer the smaller mirrors on the fenders but have grown to like these now :) Lots to do lots to do but it didnt cost me near what this one is asking for his and its solid ( apart from the lower door frames, petrol filler area and wing - surprisingly solid underneath despite the hole and and and hahahha ) But.. its a project so :) Took about 2 years of lookin but got there in the end. Only got her last week already having a crisis with finding doors ahaha :cool:IMG-20211016-WA0002 (1).jpg Screenshot_20211026-235616_Gallery.jpg IMG-20210713-WA0002.jpg
