I went through some of that thread last night - interesting looking at the prices from then - a decentish RHD 240z could be bought for £8k ...

It's amazing isn't it? I paid a liitle over £5k on my 260 around that time and although I don't regret my car, in hindsight I do wish I'd gone higher for an 'excellent one'. I just though £5k was enough to spend on an old car; how naive

I paid £2900 for my 240z back in 2006. That's pretty much all I could afford.
