Drag Race Challenge ?16th August 2008

Yep, it's gonna p*ss down. Have no fear though because whatever you don't manage to lay down on the blacktop you may well be able to sate your appetite for some cut & thrust Z related action by having a butchers at the brand spanking new ONLINE MAGAZINE. I'm aiming to have that sucker up and running by the weekend if I can somehow invent more day/nightime hours to work in!
 
Dont think much will happen if it is wet?

Be a day looking at the walls if so :unsure:

Either that or make a Z drift/ skid pan at the far end :D
 
it's got to stay dry enough to do some runs. Though skid pan drifting does sound like a bit of fun

thats the spirit. I have the car loaded and ready to hitch onto the motorhome friday morning. Must stop off at the chemist and get some aftersun incase the factor 55 doesnt stop all the rays
 
With so many people making the effort to come some considerable distance, I think it will be a real shame if the weather lets us down.

However, I have to say that there has been many a day where it looked like rain but it held off long enough for some good runs. I think in all the time I have been going I've only ever had two or three total washouts.

On the morning of Round 1 this year I left my house with snow still on the ground !! By the time we arrived and the early morning sun had melted everything, it only took an hour for the track to dry off leaving some almost perfect cool conditions and saw some very quick times that day.

Don't let the weather forecast put you off.

You will not need the sun, his shorts are bright enough to burn any cloud away!
 
Metcheck says it's going to be cloudy, so unless i wake up to find my car washed away by the rain I'll be coming.
